Feature request: Choose the street you're really on [Mexico]

Postby DiegoVHH » Fri Apr 26, 2013 6:31 pm

When driving on a place where there's more than one parallel street, the GPS frequently doesn't have enough resolution to determine which set of lanes you're on - for example, freeways that have central lanes, side lanes separated by a median, and elevated lanes.

This frequently results in incorrect directions, as (in my example) elevated freeways have few exits, and if Waze asumes you're on the upper level instead of at ground level, you'll get routed via an exit much further away; if it's the other way around, you might miss your exit if Waze asumes you've got access to an exit on ground level while you're in the elevated lanes.

This could easily be solved if Waze sends a popup saying, for example, "Are you really on street A? Or is it B? or C?"
