it's not a bug. You get one warning per camera at the same distance every time. There is no feature which gives another alert if you speed up in that .3miles. Currently it is working as designed: visual alert when under the limit and audible when over. What you are apparently asking for is a new feature.

If you mean, "does this feature request get passed on" to Waze as an official request, then the answer is 'no, not automatically.' There are a handful of Global Champs, kinda like Superusers, who can open new bug and feature requests. What we usually look for is 1) reasonableness, 2) level of community desire (measured by thanks, +1, me too, and repeat threads), 3) likelihood of implementation in the near future (meaning in the next year) given what we know about what Waze is already working on which will take them at least that long to complete.

If the feature request passes muster, then someone will enter it into the system. It's not a perfect method by any stretch. Frankly, I feel the previous uservoice posting/voting system worked better, but that's all but been abandonded.

speed and traffic light warnings.

Postby BigKevSterz » Wed Jul 24, 2013 8:00 am

Hi
We are having problems at present with no audible for red light cameras.
https://world.waze.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=55&t=55463
But in the verification process I found a potential problem: if you are under the speed limit at the the initial warning point you don't get audio but you do get visual of a speed cam. However if you don't see visual and then speed up you don't get an audible warning and the camera will then get you for speeding. (some camera's are not visible)

Is this the same bug we have or is it an idea?
thanks
