This "caching" of data is already on the distant roadmap. (And also has a few threads about it already.)

Queuing a route driven with no cell reception

When driving in some very rural areas which have no cell reception for mile after mile (yes, even with Verizon,) I found in the map editor that I cannot edit anything where I did not have a cell signal. It simply appears like I didn't drive on about 15 miles of the route I took.

It would be helpful if the data that normally gets fed back to Waze's servers could be "queued" until a signal is re-established, then sent as soon as possible thereafter. Obviously it would need some limits so days-old data doesn't get submitted.
