Really hope they add this option. Honestly, how hard can it be?

Why hasn't this feature been added yet? Everyone wants the option to not be disturbed by constant hazards on the side of the road.
Please make it so that you can select which alerts you receive and determine alert distances for each alert!

How do I turn off voice navigation but keep voice speed camera alerts? I'm missing them. I've got alerts turned on but it turns out speed camera alerts don't count as alerts ? Or it's a bug

Thanks so much. That's what I needed to know
Meanwhile I do wish I had more granular control over what waze thinks is an alert
The roadworks ahead alert turns down my podcast audio while it tells me. Really all I need is a beep or something. I end up having to go back 30 seconds in my podcast every time.

This has been put on Waze Bug Reports and Feature Requests : The List
I haven't seen it yet but keep in mind that a brand new version of the app (4.0) is coming. So it most likely won't be implemented on the current version anyway.

For getting a royalty crown, I'm not saying it's a good reason but it's apparently very important to some people
Regarding the efforts on the "obsessive dolts", Waze has disabled the ability to report vehicles on shoulder on the other side of the road, which already limits their ability only to their own side now.
But they are already starting to complain

There are some rumors that something might be coming (no ETA). Can't say more for now.

As MGODLEW announced above it's planned

But I'd like to go step further and choose which alerts get announced out loud. I mostly care about cops, definitely don't care about road kills or vehicles stopped on the shoulder. Thank you!
