I've never experienced alert prioritization before, as far as I know the alerts come through in order of how close you are to them along your given route. When you have several reports that are nearly stacked up on top of each other, some reports may go un-noticed possibly. Especially if you are travelling on a Interstate/Autoroute/Autobahn/ Motorway and are travelling at highway speeds, some reports may slip under because you have already passed where the reporter dropped the alert pin. I have no idea if that is truth or not, but I would guess that it would be fairly probable in cases like that.

How about letting users select which alerts they want to hear? For instance, I have zero use for 'car stopped on side of road'. That's where cars are supposed to stop! Get back to me when the car stops IN the road. Ditto for warning me when I am in a construction zone. The orange cones and barrels are already a dead giveaway, I don't need my reverie interrupted for a memo from Captain Obvious. All I want to hear about is cops, traffic jams, redirects, or the aforementioned car stopped in the road. Help me make it happen! And, fellow users, do your part: stop reporting inane things, and click 'not there' whenever you get an alert for something dumb.
