TTS Encoding issue

Postby killerdemouches » Mon Dec 03, 2012 9:13 pm

There is an annoying issue in TTS for some languages (like french): TTS seems to use a wrong encoding for street names, and for example, "café" would be pronounced by was caf(copyright) (é is replaced by ©)

This is funny the first time, but it quickly becomes annoying. Since this issue exist for a loooooong time, I think it would be really appreciated waze would start to pronounce every street name correctly.
