Maybe it's trying to make you feel good, letting you know you could be doing 10 kmh :D Some of the notification logic could definitely do with improvement over time, I have to agree.

Warning: Heavy Traffic Ahead

Postby russblau » Wed Jan 16, 2013 3:26 pm

I know that the client keeps track of my speed, since it pops up a question when it thinks I've been going slower than expected. So why does it insist on warning me of "Heavy traffic ahead" when I am currently crawling along at, say, 30 km/h or less? At that point, I already know!! I suggest suppressing these warnings when the current speed is already low.
