Several WME Issues

Postby MrSoapsud » Thu Nov 07, 2019 1:50 pm

Hi all,
I've having some "challenges" with WME at the moment and wonder if it's just me...
The main one I have is that I'm back at the situation of the streetview window being black. It will probably be useful that I can now resize it but I'd rather see the pictures! It's not just in the odd place either - it's everywhere. I generally use Chrome (now V78) but SV in Google Maps works fine. I've tried turning hardware acceleration off/on and I've also tried removing cookies of various sorts but with no joy. SV in WME works fine on the same PC in Firefox.
I'm also seeing the grey screen and difficulties saving when commenting on and closing URs as mentioned in another thread.
To cap it all, WME SpeedLimits seems to have stopped working for me - sure it was fine a few days ago.
Is it me??
Thanks
Martin

Pretty sure that toolbox does the speed limit coloring you're looking for already.

Also, I have had the same issue with black SV image screen. I usually fix it by refreshing the page entirely then trying again.

An easier fix for the black SV window is to just nudge the magnifying glass a bit, that will force an SV refresh and should restore the image.

I have issues with the new street view images being taken from a pickup truck, but there is probably nothing much we can do about that.

Hi,
I've found how to colour speed limits in toolbox but it seems less usable than the script I had.
Refreshing in SV hasn't helped. Where is the magnifying glass you referred to?
Thanks
Martin

RussPA is just talking about nudging the SV indicator on the WME side of the screen. Usually works for me as well
