Nice work, Alan!

We do need to be careful when it comes to things like naming conventions as there are country specifics at this level of detail!

But I wonder if you could maybe find some way to squeeze into here that we have our own version of the guideline here?

I am sure there is. Since you're already looking ... why don't you add that in? ;)
Would do but I wasn't sure where best and didn't want to taint your hard work! ;)

Will take a look.

Why is a toll road not a map problem?

It is as simple as going to http://www.waze.com/editor, logging in and editing. Just do forget to study the wiki to know what and how to edit.
HM3USN_USMC wrote:Specifically, I'm level 1.
OK, then you've possibly already found the way.
HM3USN_USMC wrote:How do I get to level 3?
By making useful map edits and adding a value to the map for quite some time. The local editing community will notice you.

Sent from a touch display, which took care of perfectly scrambling my thoughts.

...with the good old crashing  Symbian 2.1.99.114 (on N-E52), while
trying to get used to the good new asocial Android 4.xx.0.yyy (on OP-X March-me-Low).

Thanks for getting this started!

I haven't looked in detail yet, but I envision a section of the new manual that is covers common editing issues and that is geared towards new editors. Easy to find and very simplistic. Such as:

* How to update a street name (with link to naming convention)
* How to correct one-way streets
* How to correct allowed and restricted turns
* How to add missing streets (this one of course is more involved)
* How to junction a road
* IMPORTANT - The 4 basic steps to editing - add road, name, junction, set allowed turns.

Sure, I should contribute to the Wiki myself. Haven't gotten that far yet

So what is the official name of the editor? Going to be keeping the old name of Cartouche? Very confusing...
