I thought it was only CA and all of CA for that matter. Is it just parts of CA?shawndoc wrote:Hey now, I resemble that screen capture! (Actually, I grew up in Oregon and have more of a white trash/redneck accent than a valley accent)
That reminds me, is Southern California the only place where people preface the freeway with "the"? I've done a fair bit of traveling around this country, and I don't think I've noticed it anywhere else. Take "the" 210 to "the" 101 and then head south until your hit "the" 5.
So what would a native from north CA say?rotus8 wrote:Nope, it's southern CA only. If you hear it up north, it is coming from an import.jasonh300 wrote:I heard it in San Francisco and San Jose. So I think it's all of California.

The image looks like the person did donuts in the middle of an intersection

I'll bet you good money that this person was sitting at home and panning the map thinking that they can report things they are looking at.bz2012 wrote:Suggestion: the client software should send a screen snapshot along with reports such as this one:
That way, we might be able to figure out what the drivers are TRYING to report.
I would normally classify problems such as this a "a loose nut on the keyboard".
However, I think that some tweaks to the client interface could eliminate a lot of these problems.
(it would get rid of some of the fun, however. )
