Yeah, the UR should have been "failed to recalculate after I left the route"
Unfortunately the UR sometimes does not contain exactly the same route, as which was displayed in the client. Rather one long prior to or after a recalculation.

WTF? Google reckons it's a town in Slovakia.
Žiar nad Hronom indeed is, even Waze is aware of it :) https://world.waze.com/livemap/?zoom=8& ... yers=BTTTT

I don't feel at all guilty about putting "not identified" on this one.
I'd also like to know, WhoTF & WhereTF & WhyTF did post that UR :?

Just a wild guess: if the straight line was placed absolutely randomly (GPS error?), maybe someone in ZnH, Slovakia complained for being (temporarily) thrown into Central London, UK?

[Off-topic] Can someone (a mod with with sufficient editing rights?) try to explain me, why kaeoboy's post http://www.waze.com/forum/viewtopic.php ... 11#p303411 does not display the quotation in the usual yellow rectangle??
Is the post witchy or ill-wished? :?

Thanks! Apparently it keeps for a post.
Have you enabled it? It is on now.

A bunch of uniform URs:

Yet another way how to pave a new road in an aerial-less area. (Using the green 'User drive (GPS trace)' was excellent!)

Waze, we do need a communication channel to the UR users!

Reason: enabled BBCode to fix the quote.
:? Funny, shouldn't the forum use my default post settings (=bbcode enabled) when I edit his post?
It apparently adheres to the quoted post's settings, not to the responder's  - to keep the formatting?
I've also run into such unquotable post' problem in the past  and did not get the "Disable BBCode" idea back then, until reminded.

And some GPS art:
Reminds me on one thread from a few days ago - possibly an iOS' "corrected" GPS position, snapped to the wrong road?

What's the known (not the advertised) half-life of the GPS tracks?
