A little dark humor.

Yesterday, a suicidal man on one of the two interstate bridges between Portland and Vancouver forced police to close the freeway in one direction just before rush hour, snarling traffic throughout the city. Needless to say, some of the drivers caught in the closure were not very jolly:

The man was eventually taken into custody.

I think we need to create an area Place that includes everything that isn't a building and put it in the Outdoors category.

The shipper should try the other, lesser known app for boaters called Wavez.
So, enquiring minds want know- what is your response?

I read it as the user feels they can't drive fast enough to meet (what they don't know is) the average segment speeds on his route.

I'd be interested to see if they made it or not. Considering the ETA updates as you go, I'd wager they didn't notice. Either way, more speed data for the machine! Damn the torpedos!

Count your blessings you're in Rochester Hills being routed through MUTIs, then.

Problem: this maybe a general problem but I just saw W 6th street in front of me where S Woodward runs, when I had the phone in landscape mode. Then flipped to portrait it shows 6th Street behind me. Most of the time I have it in landscape mode on my dash. So this is hopefully not a general problem and simply at this intersection of W 6th and Hendrie when traveling SW towards S Woodward. Otherwise this becomes very confusing. I slowed down thinking maybe I had to turn right on what was actually Hendrie. I managed to keep going because I'm familiar with this area but anyone else probably would have turned right.
Your confidence that other people would be randomly switching from Portrait to Landscape while in motion is admirable, but misguided.

(Note: this was reported four times on the same day using slightly different words as they continued down W 6th.)

Hi, what was the problem here on Victoria Park?

Reporter on July 11, 2014
I think it was a robbery

Ok, what has that got to do with a map issue on Waze exactly?

More of a Police matter me thinks - although what the reporter thought waze was capable of is anyone's guess
A Jolly Driver so nice, it got posted twice. On consecutive pages.

To get ahead of the de-jollying that has been happening lately to posts on this thread...
this is probably either a "map not showing on client" error or a "Turn Right on..." TTS direction since it involves an unnamed Street (now a PLR) for a Condo complex. Driver hasn't responded yet, I just found it this morning.

::sigh:: Drivers riding planes with pave on again...am I the only one that listens to directions and puts my phone in Airplane Mode when the cabin door is closed?

Actually, I cleared up some straight-line paving north of the airport a few minutes before finding this, so they might have left pave on for most if not all of their trip. Anyone find the other end?
