my map error is this, why would you ever tell anyone to take the 405? please advise against this at all times. you just cost me 50 extra minutes and God knows how much in gas.
I have now degraded the Interstate to dirt/4x4 road to improve routing.

I was on I10 heading toward Anaheim and Waze goalpost caused me to get in an accident. right before the Riverside exit . Waze did not alert me to turn off and when my husbands navigation told me to exit. Waze was terrible the whole time as it kept trying to get me to exit when I wasn't supposed to. I will be getting a different navigation app. the whole t
horrible driving directions. it got me lost and almost caused me to crash... awful...
Anyone want to explain this to me? So she was running two different navigation apps, and Waze kept telling her to exit and she didn't, and then Waze didn't tell her to exit at the same place as the nav app on her husbands phone did, therefore she got in an accident?

Next question: Mark as Solve or Not Identified?

My best guess is Waze wanted her to take I10 to the 57, while her husband's GPS wanted her to take I10 to the 15 to the 91 (UR was in the parking lot of Angel Stadium). So Waze didn't tell her to exit on 15 (I assume that's what she meant by Riverside exit), because it didn't want her to take the 15, and then when she did, it kept telling her to get off the freeway, so it could have her get back on the opposite direction to take her to the 57.

10->15->91 is shorter, however 10->57 is often significantly quicker due to traffic on the 91.

(I've been stuck in backed up traffic at 5am on the 91)

Hey now, I resemble that screen capture! (Actually, I grew up in Oregon and have more of a white trash/redneck accent than a valley accent)

That reminds me, is Southern California the only place where people preface the freeway with "the"? I've done a fair bit of traveling around this country, and I don't think I've noticed it anywhere else. Take "the" 210 to "the" 101 and then head south until your hit "the" 5.

I thought it was only CA and all of CA for that matter. Is it just parts of CA?
I think its just Southern California. When I lived in the bay area (San Jose area) I don't remember anyone calling I280 "the 280", just "Take 280 south". But I might just not have paid enough attention at the time as there aren't a lot of highways in NorCal. I had a hard enough time trying to remember if 280S ran east or west.

Still better than the coordinates for locations using the YP tab in Waze. Every time I've used that its been off, sometimes by as much as 10 miles.

Description: you're generally on track, but that was awful. I feel dumber for following your directions. please assess that route and time of day and newer our anyone through that again.

today the app continually tries to make me take lefts on major streets where there is no light. it's impossible and dangerous to make those turns.

It is very bothersome that every.time I come to the intersection I get the pop up for the cameras. U should do it on occasion, not every time I come to this intersection. Thank you.
I totally would stop popping up at that intersection, but he drives a blue Honda Accord, they all look alike.
