Every navigation system might have errors. Why would you rely 100% on it, if you have important appointment? I almost always check, where navigation is taking me. Especially on long routes. Would not want to end up somewhere wrong, just because google had wrong address there.
Granted, those with some sense would probably do something like that, but the average user is not necessarily blessed with a lot of common sense. You install a navigation app to take you places. Why shouldn't it be correct?

I still fail to see how someone missing an appointment, and getting angry enough at Waze to uninstall it, thus leaving a bitter taste in their mouth and by extension everyone they ever talk to about it, is jolly. Then again, I've never understood how people get a charge out of watching other people get hurt in "funny" videos, either.

So I agree with you, late for an appointment is merely tragic. Now if he had taken a right turn while going over a bridge simply because the GPS told him so, that's comedy.

To get ahead of the de-jollying that has been happening lately to posts on this thread...
this is probably either a "map not showing on client" error or a "Turn Right on..." TTS direction since it involves an unnamed Street (now a PLR) for a Condo complex. Driver hasn't responded yet, I just found it this morning.

Before you put this down as being a case of Jolly Editor (someone named qwaletee)... well, you'd be right, but for the plural. Two editors here. The other one was just kidding around with me.
