True, but one can easily update all other details of a place without having to take a photo. But it isn't clear to everyone how to do it, so ... users are doing it the only way they see which is obvious. Waze needs to re-work how Places get updated.

This is probably a jolly editor post also. I noticed this yesterday. https://www.waze.com/editor/?zoom=5&lat ... TTTTTTTTFT. He has been pretty busy, and I don't think he is through yet. There are a lot more parking lot lanes to do in this shopping area!!

The last two were left in the same spot, but the situation became much more alarming when I noticed that the person leaving the URs was named balls.
I actually had to post a Hazard Report once of "Soccer Balls on road" on the Interstate... Looked like a box of brand new soccer balls had fallen off a truck, there were about a dozen balls rolling all over the place...
