I really wish they would tie this to the lock level of the junction... at least tie it to the level of the lowest segment attached to the junction.

As it stands now, an L1 can attach a segment to a freeway junction, and now with this new logic, actually enable the turns onto the freeway.

At least when we could not change the TRs, the new attachment had no impact on routing since the turns were disabled.

While this is true, even they did that it would have no effect for routing those user on the freeway. Wazers on the freeway would NOT be given a route onto the new R1 segment. This is no different than drawing a new R1 Fwy. Can you conceive of situations where this will actually provide worse fwy routing?
This can only affect routing for wazers starting on unlocked roads.

WME v1.10 Release - Official Feedback Thread

Postby Pizuz » Mon May 25, 2015 6:07 pm

I can second that. From my experience it sometimes takes up to six attempts until WME saves certain changes to a place. Failed attempts get the ”Item modified or deleted“ error message.

Also to be noted: In such cases pressing the reload button in the layer selection repeatedly makes such places vanish and reappear in an unpredictable manner. A few minutes after creating a new Place it seems to have gotten stable.

Could this be a caching/routing issue? I'm accessing WME from Germany and this issue happens with Chrome snd Firefox on a Mac and a PC with two semi-separate ISPs in my hometown.

Another issue: When splitting a road and disjoining (is that a word?) the ends, the saving process might sometimes time out and when retrying WME will give me the same ”modified blah“ error. Upon reloading, the experimental road layer will then still show the unsplit road, while the light-blue selection marker already knows the two split segments. Zooming out and in a couple of times ususlly corrects this. Same thing as with the places, happens on two separate computers/browsers/ISPs.

WME v1.10 Release - Official Feedback Thread

This stuff happens for no apparent reason. Next time this error occurs, press the „Revert“ button a few times and try to save again. Rinse and repeat until WME accepts the changes. You might lose 30 out of your 80 edits in the process, which is still better than having to redo everything.

Yup, got that problem on Chrome. Moving the lens a little forces the StreetView iframe to reload at the correct position.

Might be extension-related, but it doesn't bother me enough to actually try to pinpoint the exact reason.
