Anyone else notice the occurrence of “ghost shapes” when confirming PURs for new places? Those persist at any given zoom level, even when reloading the layers. The only thing that “excorcises” them is reloading the tab.

And I'd like to join the petition in keeping the new colors, because I already got used to the new road layer? Sure, the ramps look a little bit too much like parking lot roads, but everything else is a lot clearer.

I had this behaviour on the old layer, too. Switching to the then-experimental layer fixed it. Same behaviour now, but vice-versa.

Looks like a server load issue to me.

I am working with Chrome and will confirm the same issues as above.
And will add that after backing out of edits by undo, then retrying the edits, it will save.
Once the initial save is done it appears to have no more issues.

I've actually experienced the opposite today.

Earlier today I did some major fixes to a freeway that had been messed up. I saved often as I went on without any problems. I've now come back to the area and I find most, but not all, the changes I made are not there. And I now get the "While you were editing, the elements you're trying to save have been modified or deleted". So now I can't fix what I had fixed before! The URs where I posted messages explaining the current road situation are there with the messages - I did the messages last, so this is really weird.

Edit: I just noticed that looking at the WME display of the road it shows the old name, but if I click on the segment it shows the new name on the left where I would change it.

Continuing to have unbearable problems with converting Places to residential. Virtually every attempt to save any change involving a residential Place gives the error message "The highlighted place has an invalid house number." This includes trying to move an already existing Place to a new location.

The problem seems to be localized to particular street names; see the various point Places around here.
