NA Cartouche not remembering location or panel positions

Post by AlanOfTheBerg
I found today that every time I open Cartouche, that all the panels are back to their default overlapping location. And, when you go to livemap, it shows the whole world now instead of where Cartouche just was. This has been working fine for many months. It seems a setting was changed with cookies or something...

Anyone else seeing this?

Not sure how that's possible as Papyrus doesn't have panels... :?

Anyway, I deleted cookies and cleared cache and now the panels are keeping their location and settings, and the map opens to my last location correctly.

NA Papyrus opens to previous location just fine. I thought they fixed that before on the world server too?

Ah, yes, that. There's a bookmarklet for that.

I had the Live Map issue a while back in Firefox. I had to delete all cookies and it fixed it.

For me, Cartouche has never remembered the position of the panels.

Neither does Live Map.

When I had the Live Map issue, I also had a problem with Papyrus opening in some place I've never done any editing. I believe it was in New York or New Jersey. It always opened in the same place.

I tried clearing the cache first, and it didn't fix it, so then I deleted cookies and it worked. I'm not sure if it was necessary to clear the cache first.

To be clear, normally, Papyrus and Livemap will open to the last place I had it open. It's only when the cookies got corrupt that it started opening to some default place that I'd never been and Livemap would open up with a view of the entire world.

Papyrus and the livemap never opened at the same place for me.
And I don't think it ever did for anybody.

A workaround is to use the javascripts. They do work.

The livemap and cartouche open on each other location just fine. There's no problem with that.

If your on the livemap on a location and press 'update map' it opens papyrus, but it does open on the location wich was open in papyrus the last time you closed that.
So it doesn't work like cartouche, but for me it has always worked like this.
And actualy I don't really care :P
