To do this in Chrome:

Settings (the wrench icon, click Settings)
Under the Hood
Privacy, Content Settings
Cookies, All cookies and site data...
Look for www.waze.com
Click on the cookie named 'local storage'
Click remove

I've been fine for the past two hours. I tried accessing it in the wee hours of the morning (12-14 hours ago) and it was a disaster - very unresponsive.
