Irad.. level 2 autopromotion did not work for user affected.. he has over 3000 edits.

I have the same problem, also just over 3000 edits, not changing in L2.

The strangest is that I can create new polygons. After trying to safe them, I get an error. Refreshing the screen shows that the new polygons are saved, including metadata, and I get the credits for them.

Existing objects can not be modified, modifications are not saved.

Indeed making an edit and saving it, resolved the problem, my account is now upgraded to L2.

That's a broad issue you are having. You've got edits showing for today, so I would assume there is an issue with what you are trying to edit. Is it still happening? Does this problem always happen with the same road? What is it you are trying to edit?

The new edit count for level 2 promotion is 3,000 edits. Since you are right at that level, it may indeed be the same problem. Give it a few days and see if it gets sorted out automatically.

When they changed the promotion limit to 3,000 maybe they changed something else in the process. I would suggest waiting a few days to see if it sorts itself out like it did with b0b2.

Just seems like an internal issue when someone gets promoted to L2, seems like the process may be taking a few days to complete. You can still partially edit, but just give it a few days and see if your full editing ability returns. I suspect it will.

3 days isn't too bad. Would be nice if it was more immediate though, like it used to be before they change the promotion limit.
