Tired of odd routing yet?

Look at the driven path nice and straight vs the route line. Instead of a single straight down the highway path, it exits through three additional junctions and goes against a turn restriction.

I am fairly certain, having worked on this area before, that no turn restrictions have been recently updated.

The green driven line goes straight down the highway.

There's "soft" restrictions there as the segments turn orange if you change the turn restrictions, which is how it violated the turn restriction going north on Golf Club Rd.

As for why the route even popped up, see this thread that Waze has yet to acknowledge. AFAICT it's a problem with all 3.x clients.

You don't think Waze thought he got off the ramp and it recalculated? If that was his directions to get off the highway and back on, wouldn't the direction purple line be on the highway too when he submitted it?

Does limit one's confidence in the routing algorithm.
