"Stop light" update requests = cameras?

Postby AlanOfTheBerg » Sat Jun 16, 2012 11:06 pm

I think I've figured out, and perhaps this is really old news?, that people saying "stop light here" or "no stop light" or some like that, might be seeing confirmed red light cameras on the map. The graphic image used for these in the client look a lot like a standard stop light. Missing the yellow, of course, but still, it could be part of the problem. I've personally never liked the image they started using in 3.0.

I have been thinking the same thing. Red light cameras for east-west, they are going north or south and see it. Don't get the notification that it is a red light camera, but see the image and think well, there's a stop light on this side too. I just spent a couple hours clearing them in my area.
