Waze is not notifying me about average speed cameras

I would like some help regarding average speed cameras (Point to Point), what is the correct way to add them? Unfortunately neither Wiki nor the forums have a clear process regarding these kind of cameras, it's kind of a trial and error process until you get them right.

There are newly added average speed cameras near where I live, the zone in question is about 10 km each side. I selected the segments within the zone and ticked "Average Speed Camera A to B" option.
However, Waze still doesn't notify me about the average speed zone (Whether I'm above or below speed limit). is there a missing step that I should have taken?

Based on the image you have supplied, the average speed zone has been mapped but not the cameras. The cameras need to be mapped separately for you to get alerts at the actual camera locations.

You should only get advance warning of an average speed zone if you are driving with a Waze suggested route, if you are driving without navigation then Waze doesn’t know if you are staying on the road with the ASZ so doesn’t give advance warning, only when you actually enter the ASZ.

Is there a reason behind that?
What about the other countries? Should we mark the zones as "Speed traps" instead?

They should at least remove that checkbox =/

Sorry to bump an old topic, but I have a question relevant to the same subject.

I've contacted our coordinator who was more than helpful regarding the situation (Thank you!) And he told me that the staff finally enabled the feature in Kuwait.

The problem, however, is when I approach that said camera. I receive a very fast notification (attachment below) with a bell sound right at the camera, thus no time is given to react and slow down.
I believe I'm doing something wrong, and would like some help.
I remember when I visited Madrid a month ago, there was an audible notification that said something like " You are approaching an average speed zone", unfortunately nothing like that is showing up in these segments.

The Average Speed Camera checkbox in WME only has an effect in countries where the feature was enabled.

As far as I could find that means:
Austria, Belgium, France, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, UK, Australia, Morocco, Slovakia, Russia, Germany, Czech Republic

This confuses people.
The reason is pretty simple, those were communities that requested it. Staff also did offer to remove the checkbox in WME upon request but in the end said it wouldn't be possible.

All in all, if nothing was requested from the Coordinator for Kuwait then obviously nothing was done or changed.
