Cartouche vs. WME

Hey all veteran map editors,

I recently started to take a look at Cartouche just to compare features between it and WME. I noticed that Cartouche is showing many more update requests than WME for my areas. There are URs that don't show up in WME that I initiated myself. They do show up in Cartouche, though.

Since I get the impression that Cartouche is being phased out, I feel like I shouldn't be doing any edits there. However, that's the only place I can see these URs right now. I have about 30 outstanding requests in Cartouche and only 2 show up in WME.

Old URs were not transferred to WME and for a time those posted via the LiveMap went there too. You should avoid editing in cartouche wherever possible , perhaps locate the UR then find and fix the problem in WME. I can't think of many reasons you would have to fix the problem in cartouche though obviously you can only mark them complete there. They do at least give you the option of communicating with the reporter!

Yeah, I noticed the option to send a message to the reporter. That is very cool and wish it was in WME.
