Place's official website as source?

Post by Osaka78
Dear Wazers, hope all's well.

We're not sure about this. Does Waze allow editors to use a place's official website as a source when adding the place to Waze? For phone number, address, open hours, services etc. We searched Wazeopedia and this forum for an answer with out finding out for sure. After reading the external sources page, still not sure. https://wazeopedia.waze.com/wiki/Global ... al_sources

Thanks and kind regards from Osaka78

Yes (at least in the USA), we can use the official website as source to complete information. In fact, it is the preferred method. We do not allow the use of information obtained from sources like Google, Yelp, Facebook (unless it is a businesses official website), etc.
