Error when Deleting a Place Picture

I get an error preventing me from saving when I try to delete a picture from a place locked above my rank.

Example: East Fairmount Park (Philadelphia, PA)
PL: here
Trying to delete picture #3 (Added on Sun May 03 2015, 09:15)

Error message:
Saving Error
Failed to update place

SUGGESTION Check and try again
EDIT: When editing a place above my rank it would normally create a PUR. In this case I described a PUR is not created, just the error.

I apologize for not being clearer. When editing a place above my rank it would normally create a PUR. In this case I described a PUR is not created, just the error.

I don't know if photos have ever been able to be deleted from places locked above an editor's rank or not (though they can be flagged for deletion through the app). However, any other edit to a place locked above an editor's rank results in a PUR, so it seems to be a reasonable expectation that deleting a picture should do the same thing.

LOL, I was just going to say that I had a champ lock a place to L6 so I could test and can confirm it happens in both production and beta. I was going to report, but thank you RussPA for opening one.

I would also think any change should generate a PUR instead of an error. Only picture deletion causes an error, any other change results in a PUR.

Since when can editors freely delete photos from places which are locked above their rank level? If that was ever possible to do before I wasn't aware and it must have been a bug.

If a place is locked it only makes perfect sense that you cannot edit it without requesting an unlock first, at least to me.. unless I'm missing something? :|

Ok, the PUR thing makes more sense. So this should be tested in beta to see if it is reproducible there and if yes we can open a bug with beta devs. I don't know of any L7 place where I can edit, so if any beta tester can help with this it would be great ;)
