Live Map Editing: Best Browser

Post by sutch3
Hi Wazers!

Fairly new to Wazing and had a quick question! I've been busy updating the map around my local area... Here in Bangkok it is more about adding roads :)! I've been using Safari on my MacBook but was curious if there were any differences between browsers or any feature differences?

Cheers for your feedback guys!

I use both Chrome and Safari and find them equal for editing. Chrome has the advantage that some of the community-originating add-ons/tools are usually written first for Chrome, though some are also built for Firefox using Greasemonkey.

Chrome does that as well. A long while back, I compared the 3 major browsers and that was something not all can do.

EDIT: Found it: http://www.waze.com/forum/viewtopic.php ... fox#p63272 was related to the old Cartouche Map Problem categorizations.

Chrome seems to be the only browser that works for me in WME, Opera and IE9 do not render the page correctly. That is one thing I missed from the Cartouche, it worked in Opera fine.

The best browser is the one that works best for you. Try them all. Now I am using Firefox on Win 7... I think its a little bit faster, or at least that's my impression over Chrome.

Great! Thank you! Is there a good thread you can recommend for add-ons?

If you really have to use Internet Explorer, you'll need to install Chrome Frame. Otherwise, stick to Chrome.
