The non-WazeBar-exclusive issue with segments not selecting on permalink load sure annoys me... With all the eyes on it, I'm surprised it's not been identified yet. :)

No road tiles at the moment so not much to test. Mike, the state of the Waze UI with WazeBar 0.0.28 is interesting when the road tiles don't load. In the regular Waze UI, the whole tool bar is still available, including the ability to search/Find to get to another location. Any possibility of having at least some of the WazeBar UI mirror that? (Good time to dev that now with the tiles not loading! :))

You are so fast! :ugeek:

This is the first time I've seen it integrated into the native toolbar space, which I'd love to be able to try out, but I like what I see so far.

Hey, I have v0.0.30 uploaded ... I accidentally released 29 with some code that shouldn't be in there.
Clicking Install for the update isn't working for me. First time I've seen this happen.

Weird. I had to uninstall first.

The native toolbar still shows for me now. Just the search box and Find button.

I did a shift-refresh on both and it hides the waze native toolbar now. sweet. I'm curious how you worked through the multiple/identical results in the search box. If you don't mind posting here or just send me an email.

Maybe just me, but I can't get WazeBar to load in the current beta. I emptied cache, too....

mike-bronner wrote:It looks like the map hasn't loaded either .... how does WazeBar show up once the map is in place? I'm thinking that your page hasn't loaded jQuery yet? At the bottom the the error console, type in "jQuery" without quotes, and see if it gives you something other than "undefined".
The map has loaded. You can see streets in my SS.

jQuery returns "function (a, b) {return new p.fn.init(a,b,c);}."

But you have the aerial views turned off. This sounds like what Mike is referring to.
Maybe. But I think Mike's experienced enough to know more what he was specifically referring to. He could see the roads in the SS. WazeBar doesn't interact with the aerial layer and Mike knows that the aerial layer isn't "the map." But, I'm not Mike, sooo.... :?
