Do RRC's take any longer to show up on the map than any other edit? One of our SM's added a set on 6/15 and we have had consistent map updates since then but they are still not showing in the app.
Thank you

We are happy to announce that Railroad Crossing is now Enabled in WME Production.
[*]Data Imports & verification: To get you started we’ve decided to import data from the Federal Railroad Administration database in the US (database contains 100,000 crossings after we cleaned it up a little bit already).

The US has received all of our imports. And yes, there are well over 100,000.

In the app settings, under "Alerts & reports", then "Reports", you can choose to turn off Railroad crossing alerts and/or hide them from the map.

How do we add Railroad Crossings to the Map for Australia? I can see the option shows up in Map Editor, however it's greyed out, and there are no level crossings near me in Brisbane listed on the Map at all.

Hey Wilsteady. Thanks for your interest in mapping in Australia.

These alerts can only be added by level 3 and higher in the land of Oz, as we have specific mapping requirements.

If you've got any other questions though, or you'd like to help out with some editing in your area, reach out to us in the Queensland forum or join our Discord server (link in my signature).

I think it should take into consideration, schools, speed, emergency vehicles, etc.

I do love the feature and will be very helpful.

I mean it's not a bother is just I think the warning is too far away...

I didn't think about repeatable warnings.. but maybe needed in some crossings

Thanks, guys.

This option should be "off" by default. It's to annoying around any metro area. Maybe offer it as an option to turn it on a few times at login and in that text also mention where to change it. I believe end users will uninstall if they can't easily find a way to turn it off.

I can see how it could be useful if I was going to an area where I haven't been before. For day to day use it's just plain aggravating.

Can something be done about "railroad crossings" that don't actually connect in the real world?

I have been reporting the same issue on a major highway whereby at the RR crossing the road goes under the tracks, so no need for the aleart on the map. Took a look at the map editor, and that section is locked....

I would find it appropriate to insert the 2 overlapping level crossing icons in the same point, with opposite directions, so as to see only one icon on the client whose functionality is guaranteed for both directions of travel, attaching a graphic example. malfunctions or opinions?
