New WME related community suggestions process and platform
Hey All,
In the last months we have been re-thinking the WME community suggestions process, something we should have done for a long time. We are happy to announce it starts today! This means you'll be able to add suggestions, comment on them and upvote your favorites in our new Uservoice WME section
The changes are built from 3 main parts:
Improvements of our internal processes which will ensure a timely review and status updates of your suggestions. This way we will have a better flow of communication and improve transparency around them.
Backlog clean up for all suggestions 2019 - 2020, and migration to the new platform.
New suggestions platform - That means that the option to suggest will no longer be limited to beta users, but open to all the editors in all ranks. We chose to move back to UserVoice.
More details on why and what to expect can be found in the slides attached:
What are our next steps?
Starting today, we will move the existing WME suggestions forum in in the ‘Phpbb’ to ‘read only’
In the next few months we will keep on reviewing suggestions older than 2019, migrate them and set status to each one.
We will keep on maintaining the process and make status updates consistently.
What we encourage you to do?
Add suggestions related to the WME. This can be for functionalities you are missing (as they only exist in scripts), new ideas for improving the design of the tool, or anything else that comes to your mind.
Respond and vote. If you have a comment on a suggestion or if you have examples, this is very important. Any additional information will be at our assistance when discussing the suggestion and deciding if and how we will move forward with it.
Share your thoughts and feedback with us.
If you have any questions or comments please do not hesitate to let us know.
Thank you!
Hezi
