Parking Lot routing

I've noticed an issue that's starting to get more and more user reports in my area.

Typically this happens with shopping center type lots, where the address of a store front might be the numbers and street name of a primary street out front, but the entrance to the store is back farther or "sideways" from the road.

Waze drops the pin for the address where it *should* exist out on the main street, but the wazer is reporting it as the wrong location.

Is there anything we can do as map editors with parking lot roads to help with this situation?

Thanks, that helps, but in at least one case, the Bing data is correct, I'll have to go through more providers to see if it's wrong someplace else.

In the mean time, what do you all normally do with these problem reports? Mark them solved if you update Bing and not identified if you can't figure out where they were going?

I think your issue falls under this FAQ item.

Usually mark it as solved if we've done everything possible in Waze to make it work. Trying to fix Bing is above and beyond that. ;)
