Speed Limit information/Minor Highway Rant.

What are the chances that we will soon have the ability to add speed limits to the streets, and take away the horrible Road category structure? The better way to handle this would be a speed limit, instead of having Primary Roads LOCKED by someone as a level 5 when they have the road listed as a "Minor Highway." Its a major inconvenience and makes the site look horrible, when a road is listed as something that it isn't.

For some reason, some people are labeling PRIMARY ROADS and Minor Highways. This messes up some people's routing, because you have the option of turning off "Use Highways," but it recognizes "Minor Highways" as a highway.

It would honestly be nice to set the roads speed limit, and let that dictate what kind of road your driving on.

And here in dallas, most of Preston is locked by someone who is a level 5, so it screws you into keeping it as a "Minor Highway", which is ridiculous.
Waze has changed the behavior of "Avoid Highways" to no longer include Minor Highways.

Additionally, once Waze has enough data, the routing engine looks at it's own speed data for the road (broken down into 10-15 minute segments), and ignores the default speed for the road type.

Speed limits have little relation to actual traffic speeds anywhere at any time of day, and they have zero utility to Waze.
