The new system sounds like it will be one address at one point - i.e. Put a pin on the map, assign it the address of "123 Main St. Anytown, USA", so it should easily handle your nonsequential addresses...

According to this document from USPS (dated April 2012)
http://pe.usps.gov/cpim/ftp/pubs/pub28/pub28.pdf Section 232 wrote:Hyphens in the address range are significant and are not
removed. Hyphens in the street or city name, however, normally are not
significant and may be replaced with a space.
That being said, many cities and towns are officially removing non-numerical characters from addresses for various reasons. Several years ago my address changed because the new 911 system the town installed couldn't support non-numerical addresses (my neighbor's old address number was 52A which caused a domino effect down the street).

I don't think there is any question that waze is working to support non-numerals in house numbers. The only question is whether waze should delay implementing the system in a numeral only form while they work to add other characters. I believe that they have already decided that the answer is no.

If you're ambitious, you could report the problem to Bing.
