Geocoding data sources - your help is needed

As an ongoing effort to improve our search mechanism, we have started a process of improving the internal geocoding of Waze.
This means, Waze will now have better support for house numbers when you search for addresses, and we have the ability to change and update existing data.

As part of this effort, we're looking for sources and existing databases of geocoding, house numbers, rooftops, parcel data and any other databases that could improve our existing ones.
These could be data sets for purchase, or data that are provided free of charge by one of the governmental offices in your country.

Please forward any leads to:
geocodingsource@waze.com

If possible, please forward a URL to the relevant website and especially the T&C, if they exist.

Many thanks for all of those that have already helped, and for those who will!

I agree that your question in this thread is appropriate if you are unsure. However, you may as well submit it to Waze via the email and include your question along with the link. You may get a faster official answer from that and then can post back here.

In Brazil, the company is responsible is Correios by official names and numbering of streets.
The information is sold through the site (http://www.correios.com.br/produtosaz/p ... F2A0E8DA5F) and the product name is e-DNE.

I sent an email with details to the contact email of Waze.

The post you quote is from 2012. The wiki is more up to date. The acquisition by Google has not alleviated the necessity to add house numbers to new roads on the waze map.

I asked and staff unstickied the thread. So I'm guessing at this point they are no longer adding geo submissions.

Googled on the subject and found this site:
http://www.geonames.org

It got postal code info for many countries. But Im unsure if this is the kind of info Waze want.
