IGN Ranting
Pardon the rant but...
Do people who work for IGN get any training at all? Do they know how to edit maps? Do they know the difference between states and cities in the United States? Are they told aerial photos can be out of date and if the edits are less than say 2 months that they shouldn't DELETE them without checking? Do they realize that turn lanes between streets labelled "Main Street" and "5th Street" should in 99.999% of the cases NOT be labeled as ramps? That in 99.999999% of the cases in the United States, a dirt road does NOT intersect with an interstate with a 4 way junction?
That the Nevada desert is not their personal play space to create extra roads? I'm guessing that they are paid "per edit" hence all the random weirdnesses out there.
These aren't old edits that I'm ranting about. They were all done sometime in December 2012 by IGN.
Grumble...
