Simulating waze navigation

Post by timl2k12
I'm seeing problems that may have been fixed sometime in the past by someone correcting turn restrictions. However Waze does not provide any info about when it identified the problem. Is there a way to simulate navigation form arbitrary point A, to arbitrary point B, or do I have to actually go out in my car and see if waze is still providing incorrect directions?
I guess my question is in short, how do I know if Waze is still suggesting the incorrect route?

I've done this a lot and it works well. What we're still missing is a "TTS simulator." Hopefully, this is on the horizon as the code from the routing server livemap uses also includes a field for TTS, which was added last year.

With a little work you can do it in the client as well. If you click and hold on a location, you tell the client to start navigation from that point, and then put in a destination on the other side of the problem to see what happens.
