I use the "No Name Roads" layer for Wayne's problem. I made sure everything in my area is named, except for a handfull of roundabouts and ramps. I turn off everything except that layer and I see orange instead of red.

Our country is not basemapped in case u're wondering.

Sorry, I am unaware of what happened with this feature. I recorded a couple roads in the last few days and when they appear, I will check to see if they also appear in the minimap as well.

Can you place a screen shot, so that we can see the same as you do?

The noName-layer is a little help, but it isn't made for that - it only shows the red ones if all the rest has names - and it sure will not put any less load on the servers.

I think you are referring to the area map that shows the box you are zoomed in on.

While Waze was working on the server performance issues the limited the zoom levels where "red roads" show up. You have to be at least three "clicks" zoomed in before they show up (zoom level where normal streets show up).

I would believe that they probably removed them from the mini map also.

Hopefully with the new servers they can remove this restriction. Or better yet, give us a list where we can work the unnamed roads without having to hunt for them.

This is a known and complicated issue and right now we can't provide it on the map.
As homer said, we are still trying to figure out the best way to do it.
Meanwhile, you can see it from zoom 4 and up.
