There's an app (script) for that! ;)

The problem is that most editors that mess things up are not even reading the forums to know there is a script.

Agreed with Kent on all the above. The closed URs expire, and don't have the same presence as a red road in the shape of an arrow. What I think is needed is a series of pins and callouts that are easily spotted and can point closely to 1 or 2 specific spots on the map. There also needs to be a mechanism to temporarily hide them if they get in the way, but not one that you can just set-and-forget, thereby never seeing new important messages.

Even after they implement the "proper" note-taking objects, we'll need a break-in period where we can identify any existing notes and delete or migrate them.

Spotted in the 3.8 client today (Intl server, default theme), guess what type of segments are shown here...

It's being discussed in a few threads. If you notice, the railroads appear much like roads. So it could be confusing to some. Hope there is a change down the line to fix this issue.

I've just finished dissecting the map schemas in v3.8 and a Waze have added the following items in to the default schema:

# Railroads (confirmed as displaying)
# Runways (confirmed as displaying)
# Ferry (unconfirmed)
# Private (unconfirmed)
# Parking (unconfirmed)

Sadly Waze seem to only have updated the default schema so if you use any of the others you won't see them unless you do some editing. :-(

I have already updated my 'Map editors scheme' but need to do some more playing before I share it.

I just sent a message to the Waze team that said they would not implement RRs in the client until they solved the editor communication problem. I will report back what I find.
