That's not an intersection...

Hi all,
I'm new here so please forgive me for any noob mistakes. But yeah, Western Hls Viaduct and State Ave; lon: -84.54378, lat: 39.12445; is a bridge overpass, and I don't know how to change it. I just set it as "restrict all turns", but any help in this area would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Don't forget to reconnect the roads!

BTW, i do it this way:

Check, and if needed correct the levels and connectivity of the segments, and remove the junction (without disconnecting any roads first).

Start out here: http://www.waze.com/wiki/index.php/Map_Editing

That's the wiki page for map editing.

Basically what you're going to want to do is change the level of the overpass to something higher than that of the underpass, and then remove the junction. There is useful information on how to do those things on the forums and in the wiki. If you have specific questions about how to do that feel free to ask and we can help.

@Unwallflower is absolutely right, but let's make your first time easier:

[Removed my WRONG advice, thanks to @gerben below. I was wrong.]

I hope this is right

1. Click on Western Hls Viaduct to the left of State Ave.
2. Now hold the CTRL key down and click on Western Hls Viaduct to the right of State Ave.
3. Now click on Edit Road Details in the Edit panel and change Level to 1.
4. Click on Save Changes
5. Click on Remove Junction in the edit panel
6. Click on the junction between State Ave and Western Hls Viaduct
7. Click on Yes

This works because there are no turns currently allowed between the two roads. Otherwise as @gerben notes, you would need to correct the connectivity first.

Remember it can be up to a week before the changes you make are reflected in the map on your client app.

Thanks for correcting me @gerben, and teaching me. I didn't know you could remove a junction when roads overlap, if there is no connectivity between the overlapping roads.
