Cannot create Roundabouts

Post by martynhodder
Hello

I've stumbled across what I hope is a temporary problem. Every time I attempt to create a roundabout from a junction I get a "The waze server has returned an error" message. I have been getting this consistently for 3 days.

I have attempted to add a new road and junction or edit an existing one with the same results. I am an area manager for the area in question.

I could draw the roundabouts manually, but it's a royal pain in the backside and my roundabout skills are generally lacking.

Can anybody shed any light on this problem?

Additionally the search function for these forums Is a bit pants. Searching for roundabout creation error produces an error to say the words are too common....

It'll be no comfort but the same thing is happening to me. I do (or should have) have permissions by virtue of me driving over it a gazillion times, and certainly my gps tracks show.

The permalink is here if it helps anyone debug:

Dear Waze

About 2000 UTC 31 Oct problems started occurring on the Cartouche editor on the World server. The same problems are occurring on the WWW server but I can't confirm they started at the same time.

The problems all seem to be with junctions. Adding junctions, deleting junctions, creating roundabout, setting connectivity.

@KrankyD asked in one forum thread for a Firebug trace. One very smart user, and also me, can't figure out just what we need to do to give you what you want. I also suspect that you won't get anything useful. It's not a Javascript error - we just get back messages about the Waze server had an error. It should be easy to reproduce:

1. Try creating a roundabout (8m) here:
http://world.waze.com/cartouche/#?zoom= ... =110226197
2. Try creating a roundabout here
http://world.waze.com/cartouche/#?zoom= ... FTFFFFTTTT
3. Try deleting a junction here
