I can't duplicate your error message. I add lots of landmarks but I don't see "sports facility" on my pull down menu. I do see "sports center" and "stadium" and just added one of each in the Gulf of Thailand with no complaints. Seating may prove to be a problem though...

You probably know this but you do have to define the area where the facility is located and then use the pull down menu to describe it, and then give it a name. Doing that works for me. If it doesn't for you and you are the Area Manager in the region you're trying to edit, you'll probably need to communicate with those fiends at alpha@waze.com.

I always do my best to avoid that but their reply to your problem should be better than the standard reply to Map Problem queries.

I was able to duplicate this error. You're getting this error because you're trying to save the landmark without first defining the geometry. You can't just click the map and add the landmark... the geometry has to be defined, and I can tell from the screenshot you posted that you're not doing that first.
