New Merger Error?

Post by HavanaDay
Anybody come across Map Problem Number 100 yet.

1st time I have seen this one. You click on it and it says undefined. You think a system glitch or a new type of error we don't know about yet.

EDIT: It appears this is happening to all Map errors. Either I am impatient, or even the other Merger errors are not going away after I resolve them.
Did you try the 'refresh' link inside the Map Problem button?

Yes I saw that posting yesterday as well. I agree with AlanOfTheBerg it seems to be a replacement for the 50 or 52 errors. I can wait for the announcement just kind of jumped out at me the other day.

Just had a look in my newly adopted area and there are several 50s and 52s still. No 100s.

The other thing that irritates me is that these errors should go away automatically, in the same way they appeared.

I worked on that area yesterday and so the issues have been dealt with, but still I have to manually click on them. The system should be clever enough to re-scan and remove them!!!

50s and 52s are based on analysis of someones route. I guess they could try to reanalyze just that portion of the route that caused the errors. But considering that 90% if not higher of the 50/52s I see are due to bad GPS points, there would be no reason to retry, as it would just error again. Better option would be multiple select problems and allows us to "resolve" multiples without the wait.

Then the error makes little sense. What can I do about the fact that they're lots of way-off GPSs out there.

All I do is click on them, click resolve, and they seem to disappear. But that's a 3-click operation. . . which will usually remove 3 of the bubbles.

If you have a lot of them, then it becomes tedious.

One of my main bugs with cartouche is it's very click-intensive. Everything takes 3 clicks/presses. And you can't group them up.

So you can't do anything quickly.

If I could draw a box around an area and then do the same 3 clicks to clear all the 52s, then I weouldn't mind them.

Well I have yet to come across a useful 52 error.

Usually if there's a new road somewhere, they'll be a red line, and an un-named road. . . easy enough to find.

But as it is I've had stacks of these 52 errors (and the 60s), literally all along an established road. And they take ages to remove.

I'd like to be able to achieve more in the time that I spend in waze - so they should be making things more efficient.

I still have hundreds of 60s. . . a few 50s (which I can't correct cause they're linked to errors outside my area). . . and no 100s.

I don't have an explanation, but I suspect it's probably related to the restructuring of the map problems they're currently doing (alluded to here).
