When a gas station appears in the client, but not in the editor, so it cannot be deleted. Waze will need to fix these, via this form. I'll clarify the original post.

Same question here. In the rural areas I travel through, there are some defunct stations that I am going to try and clean up over the coming weeks.

Could we have a better definition of what a "ghost" gas station is? Obtusely, I'm not understanding this statement:
If you discover a gas station appearing in Waze that does NOT have an associated landmark at that location, then you can report it here for HQ to fix manuall
...appearing the editor? The client? What would a ghost gas station look like in either case?

I found several of them in my country (Malaysia) and all of them are from SHELL brand. Could it be one of the base map imported into Waze? The location and name are consistent with the one provided in SHELL website.[ img ][ img ]

Does it have an editor rank lock or is it a save error?
Also, do you have a link to the mystery gas station?

Not to mention that stations that have changed brands, etc., are sometimes showing up with the old data, even though it had been previously corrected.

I have seen the same thing. They show up in the app but not the editor . Hope this goes away when the freeze period is over.

I've submitted a couple in my area. Two have been around for months/years, and another just reappeared yesterday. It seems that with the landmarks being frozen, we're getting some long-closed and long-deleted gas station landmarks back.
