Streets visible only when navigating

Using Droid X.

I've noticed that streets are not visible in Waze when I'm just driving around, but they are visible when I'm navigating a route. Why is that?

To clarify - If I launch Waze and don't put in a destination, I get very few streets that show up. Mostly just major roads are visible. But, if I put in a destination and follow the provided route, the streets ARE visible.

Lastly, stats are not affected by streets not being visible.

I don't get it...

Yeah - I thought that too and zoomed all the way in and still nothing. I only get major roads.

Thank you. I will give that a try. I sis notice yesterday thY while on a route the map wasn't complete either.

Levon - Refreshing did not help. I have written the email suggested.

Probably different zoomlevels. Try zooming in a bit when not navigating.

Hi,

Try to refresh the map, go to menu--> settings--> data usage and select refresh map.
