What's the best way to fix this "roads are too far apart"

It look like the drives that caused the error were most likely u-turns and that the road segments are all OK. Should I mark it as solved and move on?

As waze will route just fine through the intersection, I wouldn't change anything, would mark it solved and would move on.

As has been said elsewhere, MPs are not necessarily things to be fixed, they are things to look at. Many of them require nothing to be done.
