Note that there is a known issue for the graphical map tiles not updating in live map.

So, it might show up on the client first. Keep in mind, in design it takes a day or two for the map tiles to get updated (this has been longer due to popularity demand). Then the client is only designed to download new tiles, when routing through one, searched for a destination in one, or the tile cached is older than 1 week.

So adding the processing delay with the design client update mode, it can be two to three weeks.

Remember this is still way faster than any of the other players in the mapping game.

One map rebuild cycle takes about 3 days. The last map has been published yesterday and the new cycle has started. You have edited the map a day before yesterday so your edit is probably scheduled in the cycle currently being processed. If there are no software bugs the cycle will finish by the next weekend and then you will be able to see your updates. Will be able does not mean you will see because:

This is true and also you can force refresh the map area by clicking Menu -> Settings -> Data usage -> Refresh map of my area.

About a week, maybe two.

Waze are hoping to speed up the process soon though.
