I would also like to add that if you have not already, please take time to read the Wiki sections for Area Managers, Map Editing, Map Editing Best Practices and related/linked pages. It is very important to understand the editing process in Waze and to follow standard practice.

Thanks for the help so far i didnt notice that there was missing junctions. However some of the map problems have junctions please take a look at
http://world.waze.com/cartouche/?zoom=6 ... FTFTFFTTTT

Is it possible that someone has been deleting the nodes. these problems never used to be there.
Thanks

The 'Map problems' layer (if selected) shows a lot of unconnected roads in that area.

See Cartouche - Map problems in the Wiki for more information, specifically errors 6, 21 and 22.

In the View panel there's an option to '[ ] Highlight connectivity'. If you enable that, you'll be able to see which other roads a selected road is connected to.

For example, the road in the middle of your permalink (St Davids Close) is only connected to the road at the bottom (St Michael's Way) on one side. The other side isn't connected to the junction and so can't be navigated down. It may look to be physically connected to the junction, and it will move with the junction when you move it, but it's not connected for the purposes of routing.

(The 'Restricted turns' layer shows that many junctions are fully connected, but don't allow turns in certain directions. Unfortunately this layer is very unreliable, and Support have recommended that we do not use it.)

To fix this, click on the junction and select 'Enable all turns'. If that doesn't do it, then add another junction on top of the existing one.

For all of the ones I'm looking at in that permalink, there are not junctions there. Take this one for example: http://world.waze.com/cartouche/?zoom=8 ... FTFTFFTTTT

No junction. You have to add a junction there for Waze to know the roads are connected. Under the edit menu, there is an option for "add junction".
