Event Name in English

Why English is mandatory?

I mean, if I send mail or twitter by the event page I get this
Si estás conduciendo en Valparaíso, Chile 31 de dic, estas carreteras estarán cerradas debido a New Year 2017 https://www.waze.com/events/new-year-2017-2016-12-31 vía @waze
So, when I tried to change to spanish on the english title I get this
Please use English letters, numbers and punctuation
