Recently I have seen a few and I think the amount of people needed to close a street is lowered a lot!

It does work indeed.
But it's not really easy to use.

If you close the freeway before a junction the freeway still isn't closed.

FXavierM wrote:Hi guys. I need help with a major event in Barcelona that will close two of the major streets in the city. I've sent a request in this site (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1R0XIsG ... o/viewform) and today waze sent me an e-mail that accept the event. Now I don't know what is the next step to do correctly this event.

Please help, and sorry for my english..
Waze usually share a document with you to fill in. In that, you can put in permalinks, closure times (dates, hours etc.) Did you get that one yet? If not this form should work just as fine. Just follow each page and continue to add all the segments that are closed.

I don't know, but I hope that's true. Otherwise, it could be way too cluttered to be useful.

I have submitted an event here in Philadelphia. It's the 'Budweiser Made In America Music Festival'. The city closes a large section of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway and adjacent streets for a 2 day concert. Details are in this thread: viewtopic.php?f=215&t=58670

If anyone wants to take a look at it on the client, the road closures start on Thursday and ramp up until Saturday, when dozens of city blocks are affected through Tuesday AM rush hour. With the number of segments affected, I have a feeling there will be hundreds of pins showing up on the client. Not sure how that's going to look?

This is awesome!, I just have a few questions:

1. Is there a possibility to close a road automatically according to a specific characteristic of the city "behaviour"?. Example: Here in Bogotá Colombia we always close on sundays some specific main roads in order to let the people use them (By bike, walking, running, skating and so on) from 7am to 2pm.
2. When there's a monday holiday in Colombia, there's a special operation for the people that return to the city and some roads are close until 6pm.Is there a way to specify that behaviour even if a user is not able to be there to report the closure ? (There's a big chance that most users are not able to get there on time to report the road closed).

Thanks in advance. :D
