I don't recall turning it off. I turned it back on. I go back and forth between editing at home and work. Anywho, I did try searching for the term yellow in this thread but didn't come up with any results. I will read through it from the start. No problem having it yellow, really, just was trying to understand about it.

Any idea if a keystroke or certain add-on would cause the Map Comments layer to turn itself off? I am stumped.

I know that Shift + M (on Windows) toggles the MC layer. I am trying to pinpoint which of my many scripts is causing this. Anywho, now I know that the orange, or yellow, is for MC layer being off :)

I just tested this PL with Fix UI on and off:

https://www.waze.com/editor/?env=usa&lo ... 5,61433006

It captures/loads the segments properly as a PL should with Fix UI disabled.

A way to suppress the copyright notice along the bottom bar when Satellite imagery layer is on. I don't remember it rambling on for so long as it does now -- I think there was a recent change. It seems to vary in length as you pan around, and sometimes runs right over the zoom scale indicators and other controls along the bottom, creating gibberish.

I have the TB bar there and it covers the message.

When I click a PL for a PP or an AP, the item is not selected when WME loads. The same thing typically happens for segments too. I use the bookmarklet for the segments and that's fine. I just can't get the venues to be selected. This proves extremely challenging when I'm trying to approve requests for my mentee. Someone, today, mentioned that it was likely WME FUI. I toggled it off and sure enough, everything selects just fine.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Is there another bookmarklet that can help? I prefer to keep WME FUI running, but I have to turn it off in order to have the venues selected when I click a PL.
Are you sure this issue is isolated to Fix UI? Have you disabled all other scripts but Fix UI? I have had permalink issues for some time where venues/segments are not always selected when I click through on the PL.

Now that you mention it, I get the same thing with it on and off.

Thank you for moving the GSV button back to the left. It's such a small feature tweak, but it somehow makes a big difference (to me at least). Thanks again for your hard work on this great script!

With the new profile button on the far right and subsequentially less top bar real estate, the edit count (from the Waze Edit Count Monitor script) is pushed down if you are also running FixUI.

That's not my fault, exactly, it's Waze's.

I'm guessing you're running in quite a small Window. This is down to the changes Waze have made to the Toolbar, as of the point where they moved the Layers & Refresh buttons onto the map. At that time, they changed the way the toolbar is constructed - it works fine if you don't add anything back to the toolbar, but that's not how we work!

I can see you've already added layers & refresh back to the toolbar, and you've got the ECM button there. If you're like most editors, you probably have Toolbox running as well. When the window is too small to accommodate all of that, things start overflowing because of the poor design of the toolbar.

There are a couple of things you can do to work around this. You turn on "Hide Menu Labels", which will save a significant amount of toolbar space. I also judge from your screenshot that you're using "low" compression in FixUI, so increasing that to "high" will make more room.

Lastly, my intention is to replace the new user icon with a smaller & simpler one if any top bar compression is applied - or I might even move it somewhere else entirely, since it really doesn't belong with map edit controls! So that update will improve things.

It might look like the image below. I welcome comments from anyone who think's that's a good/bad idea.
Thank you so much for the detailed response! Sorry, hope I wasn't coming off as pointing fingers, I was just explaining the behavior on my end.

The screenshot I originally posted above is my home setup, 1920x1080. At work, I run on 3840x2160 and it's fine with no runoff like with my home setup. I will try those steps you outlined when I get home :)
